Para papá y para la lagartija
Por fin me he podido poner otra vez a coser. Últimamente parece que no ha habido tiempo para nada, entre viajes y viajes, y el curro, y el peque y y y, vamos que no he podido hacer prácticamente nada.
I was finally able to start sewing again. Lately I have been so busy with other things, I had no time at all to sew.
Hoy mi enano ha ido por tercer día a la guardería, mi peque se hace mayor! Y yo me voy adaptando y acostumbrándome a no tenerlo conmigo todo el día.
Aunque sólo va cuatro horitas por la mañana, me da tiempo a mucho.
Today's been my little one's third day at the kindergarten for the third day (he's growing up so fast!!) And while I am adapting to having time in the mornings, I can sew again.
Hoy los dos hombres de mi vida comparten vinilo.
Today I am sewing for the two men of my life.
Para el peque una mochila, que la que tenía no me gustaba porque era de publicidad y tenía unos colores....que ejem. Así que la desmonté para aprovechar las correas y una cremallera y le he hecho esta mochila.
El patrón lo compré en Craftsy, concretamente se trata del patrón "Toddler Backpack" y me gusta porque el tamaño es ideal. Las explicaciones se hacen un pelín densas, hay pocas fotos y mucho texto.
The baby is getting this backpack. He had one advertising some stuff and I didn't like it. So I tore it apart and took what I needed from it (the straps, a zipper...).
This patter I got from Craftsy and I like it because it has the perfect size, the instructions, though, are somewhat annoying, to few pics and too much text.
Como soy una caga prisas, no seguí el margen de costura en algún que otro sitio y luego he tenido que apañar la mochila haciendo algún fruncido, que queda un poco extraño, pero en general, me gusta el resultado.
When I start sewing, I get very anxious to finish the project and in this particular case, I did not follow the seam at some points and so I had to fix the bag with some ruffling...looks funny, but I like the overall result.
Me encanta cómo le queda el vivo amarillo, a juego con las correas de la otra mochila.
I love the yellow piping, it goes great with the straps!
Por cierto, después de coser varios bolsos y mochilas, estoy cada vez más convencida de buscar una máquina de brazo para estas cosas, porque tela lo que cuesta coser las con la máquina normal!
BTW, after a few bags, I am almost convinced to find a shoe sewing machine, because my machine makes it hell to sew bags!
Y para popoch, un neceser como el mío.... es que me encantan estos neceseres, qué le vamos a hacer!
Y le cabe todo lo que necesita para ducharse en el gimnasio.
And for my DH, a toiletries bag. I am totally in love with this simple bags, what can I say, I like having a bag where all my shampoos and stuff fit!.
